HATE?

It’s tough to write about hating since I prefer the concepts of positivity, love, and other relative ideologies. To be truthful is one of my virtues too and if I say I have never hated anyone or anything, then I will be lying. Firsts things first "I hate seeing hate all around me, be it social media comments or interviews or news". I have been reading about hate and its related psychology to get my facts correct. And now that I have awakened all the deep-seated emotions related to hate from inside me, I don’t expect myself to be polite as we proceed further. Since this is a debatable issue, I will keep all the portals open for discussion.

I believe we all have experienced hate. Not admitting and admitting has been a thing of internal conflict. We all tend to avoid confession of hate as through inner conscience we know we are doing wrong while hating and, yet we end up hating. Hating is a human emotion that should be transformed into any other emotion on the positive side of the emotional palette, as in love, before it becomes some movement to fight for, like #StopAsianHate, #BlackLivesMatter, #LoveIsLove.

Returning to study own self I understood a very important thing, “when do we hate someone or something?”.

This hate starts with jealousy, jealousy starts with incapability, and incapability is a consequence of wrong judgment and feeling of threat. This might be hard to understand so let's break it into parts again.

The world we live in is very conventional and ultra-conservative and, I don’t blame anyone for that. This is a character trait of the whole animal kingdom. There was a news headline where the chimpanzees of a tribe killed an albino chimpanzee that was born in the same troop, humans are no different, they don’t kill literally but they do have the power to kill your inner soul. The thoughts of superiority and power make things worse. The superpowers in the world consider themselves superior, the whites consider themselves superior (GENERALISED), people with money consider them superior, everyone was supposed to be straight, the demarcations of everything based on “male” and “female” are very clear. That was the conventional world we were living in.

Things changed humans started exploring and increasing the criteria of judgments. People found feats they were naturally good at and not just what the world wanted from them. Rebels assembled. The uprising of talent occurred. Rather than accepting defeat and blaming things on fate, people started the fight. A fight that is going to go a long way. Women found voices through pens and words and made the world understand that she is not a machine to give out babies and do the housework (satisfying their husbands included). Blacks claimed for the place which was theirs from the very first but was never given, just like any other color would. The East-Asians and Southeast-Asians took over the position of being best with minds. Europe became the hub of research. Being straight is not the only option now, the whole rainbow awaits out there.

Since the criteria increased, the conventional people became incapable of many things they never even imagined, which led to jealousy. The best example for this is the one and only “BTS”. For those who don’t know them already, BTS is one of the biggest boy bands in the history of the world. It has seven humans with an extraordinary will for hard work and love for their work. Their judgment was correct of being into the music industry where they work with their hearts. They originated from South Korea and are world sensations now. They are known to break all records with every new song, and they have smashed all conventional beauty standards for men. They genuinely radiate beautiful soul energy, which is why they have a very dedicated fan base, “ARMY”. Their uprising made people question their own potential, and jealousy changed to hate as the BTS became what they are today. They fought for their place everywhere, now they might have a Guinness book dedicated to their records. They are one of the biggest names, so it might become hard to relate, but I have stated them just so you know that even one of the biggest names is still fighting, and so we don’t have to stop until we get what we want.

Just like blacks are fighting for what is theirs, Asians have to fight to prove they are not Corona virus themselves. The people in the queer community have to fight all social stigma every day to love what they want and whom they wish. There must be so many more global issues of hate; I acknowledge them all. Letting global issues slide for a while, people can hate you for anything, as in they can hate you for eating too much, not posting photos or birthday wishes on social media, or even for having body hair, or for not having them! All this makes me sick to my stomach. Why can’t the whole world for once consider the fact that everyone is HUMAN?

Anything and everything these days is wrongly judged and then made the basis of hate. Race, caste, gender, color, ethnicity, financial background, religious background, intelligence, social footprint, etc. the list can go on. But till when? They hate us, and we hate them for hating us. We enter a never-ending hell loop.

For once, if the world could live in my imagination, there would be no boundaries between countries. I could go and enjoy Japan’s cherry blossom and the next day have coffee in Africa (subject to physical possibilities!). People would follow their culture and religion, with everyone else being fond of each other. No fights and hate based on superiority. The audacity of the human brain is that we work by dividing everything. Why don’t the haters go and stop breathing the same air? There would be no superpower, and everyone would be equally powerful. There would be no need for power "only love" would do until we encounter something like Corona. People would smile and appreciate every other individual for their beautiful souls and not the devil that resides in them.

But I know this is delusional, love and hate are just two sides of a coin, inseparable. Yet we can try changing all the hate into love, like the smile of a baby that has the power to brighten everyone around. It all depends on the energy we radiate. The fight is real! And someone has to break the loop hate can not be answered with hate but with broader mindset, open hearts and love. Humans should be valued for what they are and not in what circumstances they were born. You should value yourself for what you are and not hate yourself for something you are not, be your own judge, don’t let the world decide for you. Because you don’t deserve to live in regret and disgust for what you are. Love yourself, please trust me when I say self-hate can be most dangerous of all, and self-love is the most rewarding of all. This won’t be difficult though, because we all love when haters turn into lovers πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰, the passion and values in these relationships are always immense!πŸ˜‡

See you again, with more love!πŸ’œ
